Short Bio As a renowned professional speaker, trainer and motivator, Rodney "Asaad" Muhammad has risen to national prominence by delivering a high-energy message that give Parents, Teachers and Children the tools on how to shake off mediocrity, lack and limitation and live a life of courage. It is a message Rodney has learned from his own life and one he is helping others apply in their lives. Spending most of his years growing up in Pittsburg, California. Rodney and his half brother, Tommy, were "latch-key kids" long before there was such a term. His mother Linda was a proud woman who had to work constantly to keep a roof over his head and food on the table while being routinely abused by her husband. As a child Rodney’s' inattention to the easier school work, his restless energy, and the failure of his teachers to recognize and utilize his true potential resulted in him focusing less on school in order to become a music entrepreneur at a young age. The treatment of his teachers and the troubles at home played a major role in his aggressiveness to such an extent that it took several years and great mentors to bring balance. A 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae-Kwon Do and Kenpo Karate Rodney has gained exceptional skills in discipline, focus and compassion. After many years managing music acts and working in the corporate world, Rodney decided to give back what his mentors gave to him. He has developed strategies and tools to assist Parents, Teachers and The Children they Serve to unlock hidden potential and live a life of significance.
